In addition to preparing cars at our Quebec City workshop, AZE traveled all over North America in 2025 to compete and support cars in 15 rallies! Rally is a sport that thrills us and tests us to the extreme. It is, and always will be, a part of the identity that pushes us toward perfection, extra effort, and the quality service that builds our reputation.
Perce-Neige (Canada)

The season kicked off in Maniwaki with the Rallye Perce-Neige, the traditional opener for the Canadian Rally Championship. A few snowbanks hindered the progress of Sébastien Clark, who was driving a great rally, but Vincent finished 6th overall without taking major risks and with a car in great shape.
SnoDrift (USA)

No rest for the wicked—three days later, the action resumed in the forests of Michigan for the first round of the American Championship. Our expertise was put to work for Argonaut Motorclub, who had just received the first Renault Clio Rally 3 in North America. Testing and development were on the agenda, and the crew finished 3rd in the Limited 4wd class.
100 Acre Wood (USA)

A month later in Missouri, it was time to give the Clio its gravel baptism. A tornado tore through the state and the Clio gave us a bit of a hard time, but the driver and co-driver showed impressive speed for only their third time in a 4WD car, finishing 6th overall and winning their class.
Olympus Rally (USA)

April took us to Washington State with the Element Rallysport team. A Subaru BRZ, Fiesta Rally 2, Rally 3, and ST were on the schedule, keeping us busy for this event, which is one of my personal favorites.
Rally of the Voyageurs (Ontario)

Back to Ontario in May, where Sébastien Clark’s Subaru GC rolled out of our shop after a complete refresh. The AZE team also welcomed a new driver; Marc-André Drouin made his return to rallying after several years, behind the wheel of a new car. The event served as a test session and was instrumental in vehicle development, allowing us to identify areas for improvement and test reliability before the tougher events.
Oregon Trail Rally (USA)

Once again, not much rest. As soon as we returned to Quebec, we flew back to Oregon, reuniting with Element Rallysport. The arid mountains of Oregon offer a unique and incredibly impressive landscape!

Rallye Beauce (Québec)

June meant a return to Beauce with the Subarus of Clark/Lévesque and Drouin/Briand. We saw beautiful performances with a 6th place overall for Drouin and a stage win for Clark. Unfortunately, a broken rear differential required a tow and a replacement back at service.
Southern Ohio Forest Rally (USA)

A few days later, the brutal Ohio sun took its toll on the little Clio Rally 3. A rock punctured the radiator and, unhappy with the situation, the engine decided to call it quits. A normal person would have thrown in the towel, but we decided to disassemble the engine in a school parking lot, setting up a makeshift "bush machine shop." It was enough to surprise the engineers at Alpine Racing, who wasted no time checking in on us! Unfortunately, it was 2:00 AM when we ran the first tests, which proved inconclusive. The weekend didn’t stop there, however, because we were also managing Bucky Lasek, who rented our old car, AZE001. He finished as the top privateer Subaru in 8th place overall!

Baie des Chaleurs (Canada)

Baie des Chaleurs on the July 1st weekend is iconic. To celebrate, the engine of AZE002 also decided to give up the ghost! Our super team replaced the clutch on the Clark/Lévesque GC in just over an hour to allow them to finish the event. Despite the average result, the team spirit and the joy of racing were at a maximum. If it were easy, it wouldn't be as fun!

Ojibwe Forest Rally (USA)

For our August "vacation," we loaded AZE002 into the trailer (with a new engine) and headed for Minnesota. We teamed up with Argonaut Motorclub, who managed the car, providing an annual opportunity to measure ourselves against new competition. We finished 6th overall, on the class podium with Travis Pastrana, and as the 1st privateer Subaru. Our teammates Donnelly/Pfeil went off the road with their Peugeot 208 following a puncture. The team spent a large part of the night getting the car back in fighting shape!
Rallye Défi (Canada)

Early September was the time for Rallye Défi, an opportunity to showcase the new speed we’ve unlocked in the car. We posted the 2nd fastest stage time on three occasions and finished the rally in 4th place overall. It was the first time AZE fielded three cars, as Clark (3rd in the Quebec Championship) and Drouin (3rd in Prepared class) were also part of the action!
Overmountain Rally Tennesse (USA)

Only about ten days passed before we moved on to Tennessee to support two Fiestas as well as the Clio, which now had a new engine. The learning curve with this platform is still quite steep. The driver reported a significant noise. We confirmed it with video, but unfortunately, it was impossible to replicate the problem. We decided to retire the car as a precaution and use the available time to learn more. We dismantled the rear bridge, differential, and gearbox for inspection. The two Fiestas made it to the finish!
Lake Superior Performance Rally (USA)

We finally had a four-week break before the Lake Superior Performance Rally! The Clio was done with its handling issues and ran a flawless race, finishing 7th overall with a rookie driver on board. The Peugeot (after a lot of bodywork) was back and finished 5th in class!
Rallye de Charlevoix (Canada)

Charlevoix is our home rally, and it holds a special place in our hearts. It is possibly the most difficult rally, but it is in this kind of adversity that great moments are born! AZE once again fielded its three cars to face the difficult conditions. A broken control arm sent AZE002 off the road after an excellent start, transforming hopes of a podium into a spectacular recovery mission! Thanks to a stage win and nine 2nd-fastest times, we climbed from 22nd position to finish 6th! Sébastien Clark finished directly ahead of us in 5th, and Drouin in 8th position! What satisfaction to finish our home rally with three cars in the top 10.

Tall Pines Rally (Canada)

None of this would be possible without our entire extended team of mechanics and engineers at the shop and at events, partners, teammates, drivers and co-drivers, logistics team, catering, and everyone else.

15 events mean an enormous amount of kilometers, flights, days and weeks away from home, hundreds of hours of preparation, and hundreds of liters of oil, sweat, and fuel. But for us, it is also the best way to share a passion with thousands of people: competitors, teammates, clients, fans, organizers, and volunteers. We look forward to crossing paths with you in 2026, at an event or in the shop, to share a small part of this passion!
